The New WordPerfectJul 20, 2008
By Stuart A. Rothstein I have used both WordPerfect and Microsoft Office. I have found Wordperfect to be simpler to operate and the finished product looks just as good as Microsoft. I will continue to use both, since my work place uses Microsoft but I use both at home. I perfer the WordPerfect X4.

Wordperfect Office Proffessional - Very Good ProductDec 29, 2009

I actually like Wordperfect (itself) much more than I like Microsoft Word. With the "Reveal Codes" feature, it makes it much easier to deal with all of the variuos formatting possible; Word forces one to add at least 2 additional key strokes each time formatting changes (from subscript to normal for example) than Wordperfect (when Reveal Codes are on). Paradox Database is a very good "End User" DB product. However, I do have to say that Access is a bit easier to use as an "End User" DB product. However, though Access has its VBA and you can use objects, I believe the Object Oriented programming in Paradox is more what I expect from object oriented design. The use of the Paradox Engine for putting out programmed applications is also a good addition. Quatro Pro is also a very good Spreadsheet; it always has been. However, it's Excel Mode may be improved a bit.
Don't waste your time or moneyMay 10, 2010
By SorenTwo I purchased this software from an Amazon affiliate for one reason: Paradox for Windows. Nevertheless, curiousity stung me so I loaded the entire PerfectOffice also to try it out. What a let down.
First, Paradox. This database has, most unfortunately, not been properly maintained by Corel, not even thoroughly debugged. When I got an error message saying that my master table needed a master table, , I know Paradox was now an utter waste of time. If Corel would develop the product on an investment basis instead of waiting for the market to catch up with it, they could blow the doors off Recess (Access). Paradox supports so many more features, like good table cursors, dynArrays, better function library, better identification of objects, etc. But Corel doesn't have the clout in the database market of Microsoft, so they won't.
Regarding the rest of PerfectOffice, it is far from perfect. Prepare for a breathtaking letdown. It is so user-insensitive compared to MS Office that one minute with either WordPerfect or Quattro Pro will have you running for your MS Office apps. You may be shocked at how crude PerfectOffice is. How could they release these products? I uninstalled them and returned them for my money back in 3 days.
