I have been making money online since 1998 and am always checking out resources to help me make more. The Mom's Guide to Earning and Saving Thousands on the Internet offers some terrific savings ideas and resources in one place. It's especially helpful for busy moms who don't have time to research and investigate resources themselves.
I was very intersted in the earning aspect especially since it covered surveys and mystery shopping. I still don't feel this is a great way to earn income from home. I have tested many survey sites and have yet to get paid by the legitimate ones. Turns out I don't qualify for most surveys I'm sent. (I'm a 40 year old mom of two, married who owns a home...). I've gotten a free lunch with mystery shopping, but that won't pay the mortgage.
If you are looking for great resources and ideas to save money using the Internet, this is a good resource. But if you want to make money, this isn't your book.

Unfortunately, a lot of scamming is going on in claims like these. Thankfully, Barb Webb and Maureen Heck have done their homework and put together an invaluable resource for Moms who want to either earn money or save money using the internet.
They teach you how to manage your own business, selling your unwanted items. They give real, tried and true tips on how to save every time you shop. They know about mystery shopping, and steer you in the right direction to legitimate companies that won't scam you.
Free stuff, bargains, coupons....they know how to save. Surveys, Mystery Shopping, Auctions...they know how to earn. They go into detail making sure you know how to save for all members and ages in your family. Their book gets huge thumbs up from the Moms Who Think! It's a refreshing, fact filled resource that will keep you saving, earning, and free from scams!

...Webb and Heck have done all the dirty work for the reader. They've combed the web, and found out how to navigate online shopping and dealmaking with the least amount of headache and fuss.
This book explains the mystery in mystery shopping, and outlines other moneymaking tools on the internet, including an easy to get started guide to auctions. It points out where and how to get the best deals on whatever it is you're looking to purchase.
Webb and Heck also take the time to carefully explain the most common scams and pitfalls, which makes the book invaluable.
All in all, a fabulous guide!

"Internet bargain hunter"
I'm known as an internet savings queen among my friends, and I have pondered writing a book to share my tips. Well, Barb Webb and Maureen Heck beat me to the punch and did a fabulous job of it!
If you want to know how to find great deal and freebies on the internet, read this book. The authors shared every site and technique I use and dozens more. It's easy to read and easy to navigate. This is money well spent, even for the most frugal among us.
