You simply connect the included receiver to a TV (or a computer with standard NTSC video input). Then you take the cameras where you want to use them, up to 200 ft away from the receiver, and plug them into power with the included AC adapters. You can immediately see video from your cameras on your TV, and you can add more Sharx indoor/outdoor wireless cameras or baby monitors if you like, up to 4 cameras total.
The latest generation receiver design is stylish, compact, and has both a digital channel readout and a credit card size remote control so that you can conveniently view both cameras.
In households near 2.4 GHz Wifi b or g networks you can use both cameras without interference as long as you follow the recommended channel selection guidelines.
In areas with no Wifi b or g networks nearby you can expand this system with an additional DoubleCam kit or other Sharx wireless cameras or baby monitors, up to a total of 4 cameras.
If you need more than 20 ft of night vision performance order the Sharx Pro-CCD model SCX2906F instead. | | | Features: | |

Great camerasMar 08, 2009 I use three cameras in my ghost hunting. One for each room. They are great and I have no trouble getting them to come in good on the monitor.

Good Value with Some LimitationsFeb 02, 2009 I originally had purchased (and returned) similar cameras by Astak, sold at Costco. Those 900 Mhz units suffered a lot of interference.
The Sharx 2.4GHz units were even smaller and work well to monitor backstage traffic in a theatre. At about 90 feet away, there is a little signal degradation and the color rendition is weak, but I didn't need High Def for this application. The Night vision (infrared shows up in in black & white) is actually sharper than the "day" (color) mode and shows people and objects in total darkness 30 feet away. The glowing LEDs in night mode indicate that a camera is "On".
The flat receiver antenna seems to work better than the tiny whip on the other brand. Curiously, the receiver provides "left" and "right" audio outputs but the cameras provide only mono sound pickup. Setting the receiver to alternate between two cameras and ignore the two other channels is fast and simple, but must be done each time you turn it on. Each Camera can be set to any of four channels to help avoid interference - a helpful feature.

Easy setupDec 26, 2008 Ordered this security cam from SecureCam and I must say it's a pretty good buy. I was looking around for something that was inexpensive and good enough to have video security around the house, this cam does the job, it was easy to setup, the cams are small and so is the receiver, making them discreet. Customer service from SecureCam was great and received the package the next day.

Good picture as long as you don't have anything that could interfere with it.Dec 04, 2008 It's a good thing that we just got rid of our normal landline phone service and went with all cellular phones. The one base station that I still had hooked up for the cordless phone was still interfering with the wireless operation even though we didn't have any phones hooked up to it. Also, if you have a wireless router, be sure to change the channel that your network is broadcasting on to the recommended channel that is shown in the cameras' user manual. Once I got rid of the cordless base and changed the channel on the router, everything was up and running very smoothly. It's a crystal clear picture and the detail is as expected for something in this price range.

Superb Customer Service, Buy with confidence, this company's service and product quality are SUPERB!Nov 23, 2008 I initially had some issues with my camera and gave them a bad review (2 stars), because I couldn't get it to work, and I didn't care to contact them because most companies will give you the run around and not be of any help.
Well, BIG mistake, Sharx has taken the initiative of contacting me and going step by step with me on how to solve my interference problems and they sure know how to help, my problems are mostly gone and I'm still in contact with them about solving them.
Their service is superb and rarely seen in today's companies, I am correcting my old review and giving them the highest rating possible because they have earned it with the excellent support and product quality.
I will certainly recommend this product, it is made out of high quality materials and it works as advertised, buy with confidence.
