By children event planner Great book for new and established children event planners! Everything you need to know about the business! By far, best book I have read on the business - very detailed - covers everything you need to know.

FluffSep 23, 2011
By A. J. Vigants Was looking for more meqat concerning pricing, revenue, etc., but there is very little of that here. Mostly just standard stuff that is relevant to any business plus descriptions of what got the author into it. Not too useful.

A great and helpful read!Mar 07, 2010
By B. Levert This book is absolutely wonderful! I believe that this book provides such helpful and wonderful information about starting my own home-based Children's Birthday Party Business! The information in this book is the MOST helpful information that I have come across about this subject. I also appreciate the fact that the author refers to children as "children" rather than "kids."
Information lacking regarding pricing and revenueFeb 10, 2012

I really wanted to love this book but must agree with another reviewer that it lacking solid revenue and pricing information which is a huge disappointment. Also, I do not feel that the book is pertinent to the party business rather just feels like a general business book that someone tried to tweak and make a party book. It was rather flat and generic....lacking the creative spin that is the party business demands.
Thank you! thank you! thank you!Jan 19, 2012
By Lio's Party I had tried to find a good book based on this subject, and it seems all event planning books are either based on corporate events or have nothing but obvious advice. This book details everything it takes to really start a children's party business in an organized manner. She covers the basics, but also gives the details of things you might forget and regret later. I had already started my business plan, and had a clear idea of what I wanted to do before getting this book, but now I feel so much more confident because I have lists that I can reference and check off. It would be wonderful if she included some more stories or photos, but I will definitely be referencing back to this as I continue my adventure into Children's Party Planning.
