5Excellent Resource for any Moms Group LeaderSep 15, 2005
By Steven M. Joseph
This book really does cover all of the aspects of starting and running a moms group wether it be a large one or a small one. It has given me so much inspiration and practical advice on how to as a leader grow leaders. It focuses on the one primary aspect of building relationships which is the key to a successful moms group. This book gives helpful advice on how to facilitate relationships within your group and make it meaningful to the moms that come. I have devoured this book and have also used it as a leadership training resource. The book also has some great sample forms, agendas, and letters to use for administrating and promoting your group. If you are a leader of a moms group you need this book.

5A Must-Have for Moms Group OrganizationJun 01, 2010
By sandiwr
I have recently taken on the leadership of the moms group at our church. I had many ideas of what needed to change, but this book actually gave me the tools and ideas I needed to implement. Jill's vision for building community instead of committees and developing people instead of programs makes a lot of sense in helping women to be invested in the moms group. All of the appendixes at the end of the book (Registration forms, roles & responsibilities, child ID tags, etc.) are available for your use, and if you e-mail Jill from her website, she will send them to you in Word so that you can make your own changes and don't have to start from scratch. The one bit of advice that I'd give to someone looking to start a group is that you don't have to try all of the ideas at once -- if you start out small, you have room to grow.

5Helpful Resource!Sep 17, 2007
By Deven Vasko "devenvasko"
Three years ago, I started a homeschool support group and when I recently had a problem, I needed resources from women who had been there and done that. I found it in this one and several others you can find on amazon.

You will not regret having resources in your library!
