Creative Suite CS3Apr 05, 2008

After having the usual glitches with Vista and Creative Suite CS2 continue with no fix in sight I decided to upgrade to CS3 and it cleared up nearly all the small problems that were encountered with the CS2 version. Creative Suite CS3 is used here at the USFS Mt Adams Ranger Station to make guides and maps for our forest visitors as well as plans for new construction and is used between 3 and 8 hours a day, seven days a week. No further problems noted though a new H/P 4750 printer was required to print InDesign and Illustrator pages exactly as they were laid out and appeared on the screen. If a designer is struggling with Vista and the CS2 version of Creative Suite upgrading to the CS3 version will bring some relief though keep in mind that the latest printers might be needed to show CS3's full potential.

Creative Suite 3 is not all that sweet.Jan 04, 2008
By Bernard Klem I bought this Adobe suite to primarily learn computer graphics and page layout software. The learning curve is so steep I lost time, money, sleep and interest. Couldn't Adobe come up with a Creative Suite Light for those of us who don't or can't spend years learning how to use these software packages?
