I have used this product for a long time now and it is great. It is like a personal check book register except bigger, giving you more space to list your purchases and checks. Definitely would recommend this to anyone!

This is an "old fashioned" check register, which I use in conjunction with Quickbooks so my bosses can see a real checkbook instead of a report. I can't find this product at office supply stores locally or online. Thanks Amazon for saving some!

I use this item like a giant check register, even though most of the entries are not checks anymore. I use it to record all debit transactions.
I take all my debit receipts and organize them by date and staple them together every week and enter them into this register and then print off the week's activity on my checking account and note which debits, checks, electronic bill payments (called "billpay" by Wells Fargo Bank) and deposits have been noted as "cleared" by the bank and reconcile my register with the bank "statement" to make sure that I haven't missed any entries or that the bank hasn't mistakenly charged me for something.
I still don't trust debit cards, because it'd be too easy for the bank simply to pass a transaction on to you, and it'd be easy for you to miss the mistake, since most people no longer reconcile their checking accounts. Also, if you still write the occasional check (as I do), sometimes they take a while to be cashed, and can give you the perception that you have more money in your checking account than you really have, if you only go by the daily balance online.
In addition to writing electronic bill payments in the register, I also note the "confirmation number" with it - this register has room for that - so if I ever have to contest a bill payment, it's that much easier.
This register allows me to do all this, and this last one has lasted me and my wife about a year and a half of debits, deposits, bill payments, and checks!
While I didn't buy the last one at Amazon, I will buy the next one (soon) here, because I have always have had a good experience through them.
